Richard started playing guitar and bass at the age of 13. Began playing in working bands & touring the Midwest by 18. (Mostly Rock... Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Cream, etc...)
Played professionally for 6 years in an 8 piece horn band, even though his dad wanted him to get a real job in a steel mill.
Auditioned for Bob Welch's band after he left Fleetwood Mac... didn't get that gig. Backed up The Coasters for 6 month, and yes, even did an Elvis Impersonator Show!!!
Richard has jammed on stage with Jeff Beck, Jan Hammer, Carlos Santana, Bobby Bare, Mick Fleetwood, Bob Welch and others.
Richard quit playing for years to raise a family.
Moved to Nashville, TN in 1982 and built Recording Studios. Also Engineered and played bass on demos.
Moved to Orlando in 1988.
Richard started to pursue playing again for fun and profit in 1999 and is currently working with 2 other bands in addition to None of the Above! Richard says "I'm having the time of my life!"
Gear: 1976 Fender Precision Bass (bought in 76 would not part with it) 1999 Fender 'Rosco Beck' Signature 5 String (awesome) Peavey Combo 115 and TXF 210 cabinet (what can I say, I sold my SVT years ago)
